Think where man's glory most begins and ends -- and say my glory was I had such friends. -- William Butler Yeats, "The Municipal Gallery Revisited" His talent was as natural as the pattern that was made by the dust on a butterfly's wings. At one time he understood it no more than the butterfly did... Later he became conscious of his wings...and he learned to think and could not fly anymore because the love of flight was gone. -- Ernest Hemingway, A Moveable Feast Princeton University Memorial Service, March 20, 2004 Quotations read by Reginald Case |

FOREWARD Rizzoli Memorial Tribute Book This book is a collection of thoughts, remembrances, poetry and art dedicated to the memory of Stephen Case. The many who have so generously contributed their time and effort toward the completion of this project counted Steve a dear friend, husband, son or brother. The contributor list given at the end of this volume should not be taken as comprehensive of those whose life Steve touched or of those whom he held dear; it is but a partial list, in this respect, and represents only those who have joined us to reflect on the loss of a loved one. |
